InteleTravel Ireland Monthly Sales Hit €1m for First Time

InteleTravel Ireland has passed €1m in sales in a month for the first time, in February, with average booking values up 67% compared with the same month last year.

The announcement comes as a result of an increase in suppliers available to advisors in their booking engine, the growth in the number of preferred partners and the launch of Classic Collection, the latest operator to partner with InteleTravel. Classic Collection is returning to the Republic after a 15-year absence.

InteleTravel’s growth has been spurred on by the appointment in December of Ann-Marie Durkin as its first Ireland country manager, and a business model that removes the barriers to succeeding as a homeworking travel agent.

Meanwhile, the homeworking giant is overhauling its back office and mandatory training modules, with a new onboarding programme about to be released.

InteleTravel UK and Ireland managing director Tricia Handley-Hughes said: “We knew Ireland would take a while to grow, but revenue has been increasing and the appointment of Ann-Marie to steer the growth has already had a big impact.”
