India-based low cost airline – which is currently ranked as the world’s 7th largest carrier – is, reportedly, planning to launch flights into Europe.

Both Airways and The Economic Times have reported that the Indian carrier has begun recruiting for airport manager and chief security officer roles in London, Paris and Amsterdam. The reports suggest that IndiGo wants to fill these roles by the summer.
They claim IndiGo will look to begin flying between India and those three major European hubs by this summer holiday season.

IndiGo started operations in 2006 and has, since then, been a domestic and regional operator across the Indian Subcontinent and wider Asian market. It currently flies to 126 destinations across India, the Middle East, Africa, Asia and Southeast Asia.
