Icelandair Announces Direct Flights to Miami

Icelandair has announced a new direct route between Reykjavik and Miami; with three flights a week – on Tuesdays, Thursdays and Saturdays – from October 25 to the end of March 2026.

Miami is now added as a second gateway and the airlines’ 19th destination in North America.

The flight will be operated on Icelandair’s brand new Airbus A321LR aircraft and flying time is eight hours.

Bogi Nils Bogason, Icelandair President and CEO: “We are thrilled to be opening a new gateway from Europe to sunny Florida via Iceland and from Miami to Iceland and beyond. With the new long-range and fuel-efficient Airbus aircraft we are able to add new and exciting destinations and Miami is a great addition. Miami will fit well into our route network, with convenient connections via Iceland to our 34 destinations in Europe. Welcome aboard Miami!”
