Holidaymakers flying from Belfast International Airport now have access to competitive and convenient foreign currency services from International Currency Exchange. ICE is one of the world’s leading providers of travel money and currency services, online and from a network of branches in key travel hubs across the globe.

Representing its first foray into Northern Ireland, ICE has just opened two locations at Belfast International Airport, both eye-catchingly branded in vibrant blues and white with dynamic financial wallpaper. One branch is located at Landside Departures for those jetting off, while the other is in the International Baggage Hall for inbound visitors to Northern Ireland. The branches will be open from 5am – 9pm each day.

In addition, travellers will have access to five ATMs operated by ICE at the airport, two dispensing Sterling and three dispensing Euro and Sterling.

The new branches and ATMs are part of a 10-year contract that ICE has won with Belfast International Airport, which served over 4.3 million passengers last year.

Lisa Madden, Country Manager of ICE in Ireland, said: “We expect demand in the main for US Dollars and Euro, but also for non euro currency hot spots such as Egypt, Poland and Turkey. Complementing our other airport locations in Ireland (Dublin, Shannon and Knock), these airport branches and ATMs provide another route to access currency for those that may not have had time to plan in advance.”

Brian Carlin, Director of Commercial Development at Belfast International Airport, said: “ICE are a great addition to the range of passenger services on offer at Belfast International Airport. We have been impressed by ICE’s enthusiasm about this new venture and we look forward to working with them.”
