Holyhead Port, in Wales, has reopened for ferry and freight sailings, but with temporary delays to services due to only a partial resumption of services at this time.
Both of Holyhead’s two ferry berths were damaged by Storm Darragh in early December, leading to a closure of port services for more than a month.

One ferry berth has reopened, with repairs continuing on the other. Despite that, Holyhead Port said it can still operate at full schedule volume, with timetable changes.
Irish Ferries, today, reported a small number of delays to its resumed services in and out of the northern Welsh port. Stena Line has, so far, not seen any delays.
The Irish Road Haulage Association said the reopening is a help, but is only a temporary fix until the second berth is once again opened.
