
Global hotel giant, Hilton Worldwide has reported record net profits of $1.54bn for 2024, after a strong final quarter where it generated net income of $505m.
The group – which includes the DoubleTree, Curio Collection, Waldorf Astoria, LXR, Garden Inn and Conrad brands among may others – added 22,600 rooms to its system in the final three months of the year, bringing its total room openings to 98,400 for 2024. Its development pipeline stood at 498,600 as of the end of 2024.
RevPAR (revenue per available room) – a key growth metric for the hotel industry – rose by nearly 3% for the full year, which exceeded the high end of market guidance.
RevPAR is expected to grow by 2%-3% this year.
