
Hebridean Island Cruises has launched the 2027 itineraries for its iconic ship, Hebridean Princess, featuring a new photography cruise, a new European voyage of discovery to the Netherlands, four exciting ‘Footloose’ walking itineraries and a return to the south coast of England and London’s Tower Bridge. All itineraries are available to book from today.
The 2027 programme features 37 stunning itineraries, ranging from four to eight nights between March and November, in the most remote and beautiful parts of the Scottish Highlands and islands, with brief forays to Northern Ireland, the Isle of Man and southern England as well as Normandy, the Channel Islands, Belgium and the Netherlands.
Highlights of the 2027 programme include:
- BRAND NEW: Behind the Lens: Capturing the Hebrides – this seven-night cruise round trip from Oban features one of the most respected landscape photographers, Colin Prior, who will help guests develop their skills as they explore the spectacular coastal scenery of the Inner and Outer Hebrides. Departs 29th June with prices from £7,570 per person based on two sharing.
- BRAND NEW: Cities of Canals & Culture – embark on an unforgettable eight-night journey from London’s Tower Bridge to Dover as Hebridean Princess makes her maiden voyage to the Netherlands taking in Bruges, Amsterdam, The Hague and Rotterdam, as well as Dunkirk. Departs 28th July with prices from £9,590 per person based on two sharing.
- Four seven-night ‘Footloose’ walking tours – Footloose Through the Inner Sound departing 6th April; Footloose from Skye to the Shiants departing 8th July; Footloose to the Celtic Isles departing 7th September; and Footloose in Knapdale and the Inner Isles departing 5th October. The cruises feature daily walks catering to different fitness levels, with knowledgeable guides providing insights into the local culture, history and nature.
- Two mystery cruises – a seven-night Spring Surprise cruise round-trip from Oban departing 18th May and a seven-night Autumn Surprise cruise round-trip from Oban departing 12th October. On these cruises, the captain will take guests to some of his favourite destinations along Scotland’s west coast and through the remote Hebridean Islands with the itinerary being revealed on a day-to-day basis.
- On the Trail of Charles Rennie Mackintosh – a four-night cruise round trip from Greenock following in the footsteps of Scotland’s most celebrated 20th century architect and designer. Departs 5th March with prices from £2,380 per person.
- St Kilda Wildlife Adventure – a seven-night cruise round trip from Oban to explore the archipelago of St Kilda, an extreme Atlantic outpost and home to Europe’s largest colony of seabirds including gannets and puffins. The islands also support unique species including sheep, field mice and wrens, making it a fascinating natural island environment unmatched anywhere on earth.
- Two food and drink themed cruises – a seven-night Flavours of the Hebrides cruise round trip from Oban departing 20th April and an eight-night Flavours of the Celtic Coasts cruise from Cardiff to Oban departing 20th August. These gastronomic voyages explore and celebrate the culinary heritage of the regions with carefully curated experiences and unique touches, including a Champagne reception at Duart Castle hosted by the clan chief, Sir Lachlan Maclean.
