The RMT Union has called a total of six days of industrial action in protest over the sacking of a Heathrow Express driver, with the first walkout set to take place from 12.15 on Sunday 26th and 12.14 on Monday 27th February – and again between the same hours on Sunday 11th and Monday 12th March.
The union also plans to take “action short of strike by not working any additional hours” between 03.00 on Saturday 3rd and 02.59 on Monday 5th March. Heathrow Express has published a revised timetable for this weekend, with services departing every 30 minutes.
Heathrow Express said: “We are disappointed the RMT Union has chosen to announce strike action against Heathrow Express. Heathrow Express apologises for any inconvenience to your journey and is committed to minimising any disruption.”
