Hays Travel Jets 300 Passengers to Barbados

Some 300 passengers set off for a tropical cruise from Belfast Airport on Saturday with the help of Hays Travel.

The travel agent exclusively chartered the direct flight to Barbados to take customers ‘door to door’ on their dream holiday.

Hays Travel staff were on hand at the airport helping passengers navigate their way through the check-in process.

Fully escorted throughout by Hays Travel staff, the two-week cruise is on board P&O Cruises’ newest ship, Arvia, with highlights including the islands of St Maarten and Antigua.

Travel consultant, Rachael Russell, from Hays Travel’s Lisburn branch, was at the airport to greet customers on the day. She said: Everyone was in such high spirits and really looking forward to getting away. It was a lovely atmosphere.”

Hays Travel’s communications and engagement executive, Angela Flynn, said: “We are absolutely delighted to be able to bring this unique offer of our own direct flights to Barbados from Belfast Airport, along with the amazing experience of a P&O Cruises Caribbean cruise.

“We have five more sunshine cruise escapes departing from regional UK airports between now and March 2024.

“Many of these sailings are fully booked, but there is still limited availability from Newcastle, Stansted, and Bristol. Winter 2024/2025 departures have also just gone on sale and are selling exceptionally fast.”
