Only four hours away, Halifax in Nova Scotia is a destination that will be an experience as the new service from French airline Europe Airpost starts up new flight connections from Dublin to Halifax later this month.

There is a very real connection between Ireland and the Canadian state with culture, music, food and wine being some of the aspects that are common to both.

Welcoming the guests to the Canadian Embassy, Suzanne Cromie, Chargee d’Affaires, emphasised that the new service by Europe Airpost will help increase trade between Ireland and Canada.

Award-winning Halifax Stanfield International Airport was well represented by Jerry Staples, Vice President, and Richard Garson, Passenger Sales Manager.

Eric Vincent, Sales and Programme Director, Europe Airpost, said that the airline was a successful mix of passenger and cargo and also a great product across schedule and charter services. Paris, Glasgow and now Dublin will be on offer and the aim will be to increase the number of weekly flights as soon as possible.
