German Air Traffic Controllers Strike

Airlines and airports are planning for possible disruptions from a planned strike of German air traffic controllers tomorrow (Tuesday) following today’s rejection by a court of a legal bid by the aviation authority to have the strike banned. The strike over pay increases is scheduled to last six hours from 6.00am and could lead to mass cancellations or diversions over German air space.

German air traffic controllers planned to strike last Wednesday but a court blocked the job action.
