G Adventures Announces 28 New Trips for 2014

Estonia, Ireland, Kyrgyzstan, Latvia, Lithuania, Mozambique and Rwanda are the seven new countries appearing in G Adventures’ 2014 ‘best-of’ compilation of Classic trips, which features 28 new trips from a total of 278 trips around the world. Different trip styles will appeal to many demographics, including active, family and 18-30 year olds.

G Adventures has seen increased demand for more trips in Indonesia, China, South Africa and Ecuador and holidays visiting these countries feature heavily in the new line-up, along with holidays in destinations already visited that have been given a new twist, such as Taste of Mexico and Belgian Beer Tour.

G Adventures’ Classic trips are those that the small group operator built its brand on and offer the widest diversity in terms of geographical offerings and cultural experiences, appealing to all ages and demographics. All trips continue to be 100% guaranteed to depart, an adventure travel industry first introduced by G Adventures last year.

Michael Edwards, Managing Director, says the Classic trips provide travellers with a consistent experience, whether they travelled one year or 20 years ago. “As we’ve grown we have introduced a number of new trips styles to suit travellers’ varied interests. The Classic range is our largest collection and reflects the typical G Adventures traveller, someone looking for local and culturally immersive experiences, travelling in a small group with an international mix of travellers.”

All trips are available to view online at www.gadventures.co.uk and star in the new flagship ‘Earth’ brochure, which is available from October 2013. New itineraries in the 2014 Classic range include:

Best of Java

This unexplored area of Indonesia is waiting for those looking for something different. From Jakarta, travellers venture to the curiously European-like city of Bandung, the ‘Paris of Java’, en route to Yogyakarta, home to the island’s monstrous volcanoes. This trip is ideal for travellers looking to explore the cultural side of Java and end on the beach in Bali.

Ecuador Quest

Live like a local at an Amazon homestay, witness Andean scenery, soak in the hot springs of Baños, shop at the Otavalo market. This trip suits travellers looking to traverse the often over-looked mainland of Ecuador, as well as those who are looking to add it on to a Galapagos experience.

Taste of Mexico

This trip enables travellers to indulge in the regional cuisines of Mexico, experience the ethnic mix and vibrant atmosphere of Veracruz, explore breathtaking colonial Puebla and Oaxaca, and try out their salsa skills on the dance floor.

Silk Road of China

Northwest China is about as far away from ‘traditional China’ as you can get without crossing the border. The source of the Silk Road is unlike anything to be found in Beijing or Xi’an and this adventure takes travellers deep into the China few ever see.
