Fly Knock – Manchester with Flybe

Flybe has today announced an expansion from Ireland West Airport Knock by introducing a four times weekly service to Manchester. The new service will commence on 30 October 2011 and will operate year round. Passengers can book onward flights to Paris and Amsterdam.

Flybe is Europe’s largest regional airline and also the UK’s number one domestic carrier. It operates over 215 routes from 73 departure points.

Mike Rutter, Chief Commercial Officer, said: “Following the introduction last year of our first ever service between Ireland West Knock and Edinburgh, we are now pleased to offer travellers to and from Ireland West even more choice with this additional new route direct into Manchester. Flybe now offers passengers a choice of 14 services per week to and from Ireland West Knock to and from Edinburgh and Manchester operated by the airline’s 78-seat, 2×2 configured Q400 aircraft.”

Starting 30 October 2011, flights from Ireland West Airport Knock to Manchester will depart on Mondays, Wednesdays, Fridays and Sundays with fares starting from €29.99 one way including taxes and charges (but excluding Ireland West Airport Knock’s €10 Development Fee charged on departure to adults and children aged 12 years and older).
