Fly Direct to the Heart of Germany: Düsseldorf Takes Off

Your clients can now fly direct to Düsseldorf from Cork with Aer Lingus. H.E Matthias Höpfner, German Ambassador to Ireland, officially launched the new service and was one of the first passengers to fly to Düsseldorf on 4th May 2016.

Celebrating the launch of the new route, Niall MacCarthy, Cork Airport Managing Director, said: “We are extremely pleased to launch this significant new route for the region, which will complement our popular, year-round Munich service. I am delighted to say that the hard work of Cork Airport, the region and tourism stakeholders has paid off, with Aer Lingus introducing this valuable route.”

Düsseldorf is a city that has much to offer with more than 260 restaurants, inns, pubs, rustic breweries and cafes, earning it the title of ‘the longest bar in the world’. A plethora of museums, galleries and theatres, as well as the historical cultural sights, mean that your clients are in for a treat during their stay.

The service operates every Wednesday and Sunday from Cork Airport. Seats can be reserved on www.aerlingus.com
