Final Call for Votes on Etihad’s ‘Raise The Bar’ Competition

Etihad Airways has announced that the closing date for the public to vote in the ‘Raise The Bar’ competition and when the winning GAA hurling club will be announced. ‘Raise The Bar’ is the search to reward one club with the ultimate prize, a year’s sponsorship package with the Abu Dhabi-based airline.

The four shortlisted clubs are:

  • Na Piarsaigh, Limerick
  • Blackrock, Cork
  • St Judes, Dublin
  • Kilanerin, Wexford

The public can now help to decide which club wins the amazing prize by voting for the one they feel deserves to win up until midnight on Saturday 6th April 2013. To vote the public needs to visit etihadgaa.ie. The winning club will be announced on Monday 8th April.

This vote, along with the views of a panel of judges consisting of Nicky English, Des Cahill and Mícheál Ó Muircheartaigh, will decide which club comes away with the ultimate sponsorship package.

The winning club will receive:

  • €10,000 cash sponsorship fund
  • New branded playing and training kit
  • Mentoring, coaching and social visits from key figures inside and outside Hurling
  • Regular fundraising prizes such as Etihad Airways flights and Hurling All Ireland Final tickets
