Fast Track a Romantic Holiday to Thailand

Roses are red, violets are blue, seek romance in Thailand, we’ve got special offers for two!

In the spirit of Valentine’s Day the Tourism Authority of Thailand (TAT), Airport Authority of Thailand (AOT) and Immigration Bureau are launching a special promotion to interest more couples to travel to Thailand this coming February 2013, from 1st – 28th. The campaign is aimed at increasing awareness of Thailand as a romantic destination and promoting value for money as a couple’s holiday.

Throughout the month of February all couples who visit Thailand will receive a ‘Sukjai’ free gift from Tourism Thailand and be given Premium Lane fast track immigration privileges, so their romantic holiday can start even sooner! Skip the passport queues and before you can say ‘Sawasdee’ you could be sipping cocktails at one of Bangkok’s sky bars watching the sunset over the city.

The TAT invites travel agents who are selling travel to Thailand for the month of February to share these benefits with their clients. Agents should recommend they visit Tourism Thailand’s blog at http://uk.blog.tourismthailand.co.uk for full details.

Two dedicated desks will be set-up at Bangkok airport to welcome couples arriving to Thailand. There will be one at the East Concord (which receives passengers from Gates A, B, and C) and one at the West Concord (which receives passengers from Gates E, F, and G).

The desks will be open from 05.00 to 21.00 seven days a week throughout the month of February 2013.

Couples should make themselves known to TAT staff and register for these amazing, complimentary, benefits. They can then choose whether to have their photograph taken and will be given a free gift and a special sticker that will allow them Premium Lane fast track immigration access.

Thailand Reunited: TAT’s London office will then contact the British couples who registered with the romantic Thailand campaign to ask them to share their holiday memories (a proposal perhaps?!) on their Facebook app, Thailand Reunited, to help encourage more first timers to travel to Thailand via other travellers’ inspirational stories.
