Etihad Airways is holding a recruitment drive in Cork this Thursday 2nd February at the Radisson Blu Hotel & Spa, Little Island – and another in Belfast on Saturday 4th February at the Hilton Hotel, Lanyon Place. Etihad Airways employs more than 90 Irish staff at Dublin Airport, its Dublin line maintenance operation and across its global network – and is aiming to more than double those numbers.
The Abu Dhabi-based airline is looking for applicants for the following positions on an interview-only basis: Cabin Crew; direct entry Cabin Manager; Food and Beverage experts; In-flight Chef. There are also various positions available in Etihad’s Corporate Departments: Aircraft Engineers; Financial Planning Professionals; Information Technology Professionals; Social Media Specialists; e-Commerce Specialists; Revenue Specialists; and Multi Lingual Contact Centre Specialists.

Etihad Airways launched its Dublin to Abu Dhabi flights in 2007. Today it operates 10 flights a week into the UAE’s capital city, offering onward connections to another 72 destinations around the world. Etihad has flown more than 640,000 guests on the route since launch and carried more than 9,000 tonnes of cargo.
Cabin Crew Recruitment Process:
- Candidates registered and asked to take a reach test
- Presentation from the Lead Assessor giving information about the day and history of Etihad
- Group Exercise to assess Teamwork skills
- Group Exercise to assess Customer Service skills
- At this point some candidates will be asked to stay for the afternoon session if they have passed the above
- Final Interviews and further presentations will take place in the afternoon
