Etihad Airways to Increase Capacity from Dublin

Etihad Airways is about to announce an increase in capacity on the six times weekly flight (EY48) from Dublin to Abu Dhabi. The airline plans to introduce a Boeing 777-300 aircraft in a two-class configuration with effect from 2nd July next year. This means that the UAE carrier will have an extra 900 seats per week on offer in the Irish market. The B777 has 28 seats in Pearl Business Class and 384 in Coral Economy Class, a total of 412 seats.

The additional four days per week service (EY42) will continue with an Airbus A330-200,  with a passenger capacity of 262 seats. So from July next year Etihad will have 197,080 seats per annum on its Dublin to Abu Dhabi route.
