Emirates to Hold Cabin Crew Recruitment Drives Across Ireland in June

Emirates is returning to Ireland for another recruitment drive next month.

The airline is looking to boost its cabin crew numbers as its global fleet and route network continue to grow.

It will carry out separate career days across the country – visiting Dublin, Galway, Cork and Limerick – throughout June.

Emirates has a huge presence at Dublin Airport, where it operates its famous double daily service to Dubai.

The career days are as follows:

  • Dublin on June 9th in The Hilton Dublin, Charlemont Place, Dublin 2.
  • Galway on June 11th in The Hardiman, Eyre Square, Co. Galway.
  • Cork on June June 21st in The Metropole Hotel, MacCurtain Street, Cork.
  • Limerick on June 23rd in the Absolute Hotel Limerick, Sir Harry’s Mall, Limerick 

Emirates is giving potential cabin crew an insight into what makes a successful team member and how to obtain ‘the best job in the world’.  

On the recruitment open day, you will need an up-to-date curriculum vitae (CV), personal identification such as a driving licence or passport, education certificates and a photo of yourself.

Other requirements include fluency in written and spoken English and be at least 160cm (about 5.25 ft.) tall.

All successful applicants, following the open day, will undergo an intense seven and a half weeks of training in the highest standards of hospitality, safety and service delivery in Emirates’ state-of-the-art facility in Dubai. 

The airline said: “Emirates is looking for friendly, confident, positive, team players. Joining Emirates affords a rewarding career path where you can learn valuable, transferable life skills. Cabin crew have the opportunity to rise from entry level to purser and can become trainers depending on performance and assessments.“ 

It added: “Cabin crew are based in the young, vibrant, cosmopolitan city of Dubai, which is home to over 200 nationalities and one of the safest cities in the world. Living in the city, cabin crew can experience everything Dubai has to offer, such as iconic shopping malls; the world’s largest and tallest towers, including the Burj Khalifa; 13,000 restaurants; 150+ five-star hotels; theme parks, adventure sports, hotspots and a buzzing nightlife.  You will be flying to more than 140 cities across six continents – from San Francisco to Sydney and beyond – and experiencing different cultures, food, language and people.”
