Margaret Shannon, Emirates Country Manager for Ireland, said: “Since upgrading to a larger aircraft on 1st May, some two months earlier than scheduled, we can now accommodate 42 customers in Business Class and eight in our First Class Private Suites.

“Emirates’ Boeing 777, connecting people direct from Dublin to Dubai each day, brings a range of very special products to passengers in all classes. This includes award-winning, freshly prepared cuisine, our unique ice entertainment system with over 600 channels of movies, TV programmes, games and audio books, and a collection of onboard toys for children to collect and enjoy.

“The inflight experience, together with great value fares, has ensured the early success and popularity of the Emirates Dublin to Dubai route and we anticipate a strong response to our summer promotional offer.”

EK 0162 departs Dublin at 13.50 and lands in Dubai at 00.25 the next day. EK 0161 leaves Dubai at 07.00 daily and arrives in Dublin at 12.15 (summer timings).

Passengers flying First Class with Emirates can enjoy a generous baggage allowance of 50kg. In Business Class it is 40kg and in Economy 30kg. Emirates’ chauffeur-drive service is available to First and Business Class passengers, while passengers wishing to travel with golf clubs can do so free of charge in all classes.
