Every year, over 160 different wines, champagnes and ports, sourced from the best vineyards in 11 countries, are served onboard Emirates to passengers. The airline recently flew in a special cargo of some of the finest wines served onboard the Dublin to Dubai route, together with a 2005 Dom Perignon, for Emirates’ first-ever wine tasting event in Dublin.
Hosted at the Merrion Hotel by Enda Corneille, Emirates’ Country Manager Ireland, guests enjoyed a selection of wines from France and Australia.
Emirates has invested over €450 million in its wines and spirits portfolio over the past 10 years and has over 2.2 million bottles of wines ageing in its own cellar in Burgundy, France.
