ITTN’s Ita Hendrick was a guest of Emirates and Jumeriah Hotel Group last night in the fabulous Ivy Dawson Street Restaurant for their Jumeriah Hotel Update.
Along with members of the trade, we were treated to a delightful and informative evening.
The evening kicked off with a prosecco reception followed by a delicious three course meal consisting of a choice of Burrata and Datterini Tomatoes or Castletownbere Crab and Avocado for starters; John Stone Sirloin Steak or Blackened Cod Fillet for main course and a choice of Chocolate Bombe, Apple Tart Fine or Coconut Panna Cotta all of which were delicious.
Speaking at the event was Nicola Smith – Global Director of Business – Jumeriah.
Nicola gave an update on the Jumeriah hotels in Dubai, Maldives and Bali. She also informed us that the much awaited Marsa Al Arab Hotel will be opening in winter of this year and will complete the brand’s oceanic trilogy that stands next to wave shaped Jumeriah Beach Hotel and sailboat inspired Burj Al Arab.
The five star hotel will feature 386 rooms and suites, 4 penthouses and 83 luxury hotel apartment suites. All rooms will have sea views and views of it’s neighbouring hotels, Jumeriah Beach and Burj Al Arab.
Jumeriah Hotels and Resorts is regarded as one of the most remarkable and ingenious luxury hotels of the world.
Also in attendance was Filippo Rocchi – Sales Manager – Emirates and Federica Varisco – Sales Executive – Emirates.
It wouldn’t be a Jumeriah and Emirates event without giving an incredible prize to one lucky winner. The winner of the night was the lovely Joanne Conlon from Centre Travel. Joanne won flights with Emirates and 2nts B&B Jumeriah Mina a’salam and 2nts B&B Jumeriah Zabell Saray.
As usual, the night was a resounding success!
