Emerald Airlines flies first regional flight to Dublin

Emerald Airlines operated its first regional flight to Dublin on 26 February.

The Donegal to Dublin route will operate two daily flights between the airports.

The airline will also be the new provider of all Aer Lingus Regional services.

Conor McCarthy, CEO and Founder of Emerald Airlines said, “Today marks a huge milestone in our journey to become Ireland’s largest regional airline. There has been a considerable amount of hard work behind the scenes in order to make this day a reality.”

The airline plans to operate services consisting of 360 a week across 12 routes, but they won’t commence until next month.

Aer Lingus confirmed the airline as its regional network operator last year.
