EasyJet has put on sale two new routes from Belfast International Airport to Bordeaux and Jersey. The new flights launch on 28th June 2014 and operate throughout the summer using a 156-seater Airbus A319.
The flights to Jersey will operate twice per week with fares from £27.49 per person, while those to Bordeaux will operate weekly with fares from £29.49 per person.
Ali Gayward, easyJet’s Head of Northern Ireland, said: “We are pleased to put on sale two exciting, new destinations from Belfast International Airport and believe they will be popular additions to the network.
“The beautiful French city of Bordeaux boasts world-class food and drink and superb neo-classical architecture, while Jersey as the warmest place in the British Isles is perfect for a relaxing beach break with hundreds of years of history. The introduction of additional low-cost seats will also help to boost tourism to Belfast providing options for people visiting on short or long breaks.”
John Doran, Managing Director, Belfast International Airport, said: “We strongly welcome this further expansion of easyJet’s already-extensive network from Belfast International Airport. These two new routes provide further important choice to the Northern Ireland market as we strive to maximise opportunities for air travellers to fly with ease to key domestic and international destinations from their local international airport.”
