EasyJet to Launch New Belfast-Southampton Route

EasyJet will launch a new route from Southampton to Belfast later this year.

The new route will kick off in late October and fly three times a week. The UK airline will also expand from Southampton through a new route to Glasgow around the same time.

EasyJet is in the midst of a significant route and capacity expansion, which will see it launch nine new routes from the UK and fly to Iceland for the first time.

EasyJet UK country manager, Ali Gayward said: “We are delighted to be launching even more new routes and holidays from the UK across a fantastic range of destinations which provides even more choice and variety for our customers this winter, including flights and holidays to Akureyri in North Iceland for the very first time, with a unique route from the UK.
