EasyJet has won the Airline of the Year award at World Routes, recognising the UK low fares carrier for its sustainable network development and collaborative partnerships with airports and destinations.
The prestigious award comes as the airline gets set to celebrate 30 years of travel.

The top prize for the best airline, amongst strong competition, was handed to a team from EasyJet at the Routes World 2025 ceremony in Hong Kong.
Shane Lord, EasyJet Director of Strategy, Network and Fleet, said: “Winning the Airline Award at World Routes 2025 is testament to our commitment to building Europe’s Best Network which has seen us operate over 1000 routes across 35 countries, and recognises our commitment to connectivity and strong partnerships with airports and tourism boards around Europe and beyond.
“We mark our 30th birthday this year, in that time, easyJet has led the way in Making Low-cost Travel easy – democratising travel and creating opportunities to travel to an ever-increasing range of destinations across Europe and beyond”
“This wouldn’t be possible without the support of our loyal customers, and hard working teams.”
