Dublin Airport’s Terminal 2 Back to Full Working Order Following Sunday Power Outage

Dublin Airport has confirmed that Terminal 2 is back to full working order following a power outage on Sunday.

The airport said that passenger flow was once again moving very well and apologised to all customers affected by yesterday’s incident.

“We thank passengers for their patience and understanding this morning, as we faced power issues in T2,” Dublin Airport said last night.

An ESB power outage across north Co Dublin, on Sunday, left around 35,000 homes and premises without electricity for a chunk of the day.

While most air operations continue, there were flight delays and queue delays as the outage affected Dublin Airport’s back-up support power generators.

Airport operator daa will undertake a review of the airport’s back-up power systems.
