Dublin Airport QuickPark Facility to Reopen in April

Dublin Airport’s car parking woes look set to be banished with the former QuickPark car park space due to reopen in April.

The operator of the airport, daa, confirmed the news at its end-of-year review earlier this week.

The reopening of the QuickPark facility – which will be run by a private operator – will make available an extra 6,500 car parking spaces at Dublin Airport.

The QuickPark car park closed during the Covid pandemic in September 2020.

Meanwhile, last year, The Competition and Consumer Protection Commission (CCPC) blocked the sale of a car park near Dublin Airport to daa due to concerns that the deal would lead to higher prices and lower service quality for consumers.
