Dublin Airport’s Community Fund is now open for applications for 2025, with a single “bumper” round of €500,000 available this year for local groups in communities surrounding Dublin Airport.
The fund, which has already distributed over €2.8 million since its launch, continues to support a wide range of projects in local communities.
This year’s single application window will remain open until Friday, April 25.
Dublin Airport’s Community Fund was launched in 2017 with a total investment of €10 million to be distributed over 25 years.
In 2024, €498,000 was allocated to over 100 local groups from areas including Swords, St. Margaret’s, The Ward, Tyrrelstown, Ballymun, Portmarnock and Malahide for diverse initiatives in the fields of community sports, recreation, education, social inclusion, sustainability and heritage.
While the Dublin Airport Community Fund normally has two calls a year for applications, both are being rolled into a “bumper” round this spring to facilitate a separate, very special support programme for local schools that will be announced later in the year as part of the airport’s 85th anniversary celebrations. Applications are invited from eligible areas from Santry to the south of the airport to Rolestown in the north, and from Tyrrelstown in the west to Malahide and Portmarnock in the east.
