Dubai has ranked surprisingly high on a new list of the most popular winter ski resorts.
A league table of the most popular global ski resorts for 2023, by online review site BonusInsider, lists the most viewed ski sites on TikTok and Instagram over the course of the past 12 months.
Ski Dubai – which is an indoor ski area located in Dubai’s famous Mall of the Emirates – ranks 4th in the list of 10 world famous resorts.
Courchevel in France ranks 1st, followed by Canada’s Lake Louise and Zermatt in Switzerland. Ski Dubai outranked top French resorts Avoriaz, Les Arcs and Val d’Isere; as well as India’s ski jewel Gulmarg; Laax in Switzerland and Bansko in Bulgaria.
