Discover New England, which Tony Lane from Woodstock Communications looks after in Ireland, had their sales mission 2023 last week.
The representatives from six areas included Kerrie Tripp, Discover New England, Stacy Thornton, Meet Boston, Sue Henrique, Visit Connecticut, Estlin Loparto, Visit New Hampshire and Paula Fisher, See Plymouth.
The team visited travel agents in Dublin and Cork to deepen the relationships with the Irish Travel Trade and encourage visitors to the 7 states of New England, Massachusetts, Connecticut, Rhode Island, Vermont, New Hampshire and Maine.
The sales mission concluded on Friday with a lunch in the Woollen Mills in Dublin where Tony Lane along with the New England representatives hosted members of the travel trade and media. Kerrie Tripp, Discover New England, thanked the trade for their continued support and for making them feel so welcome over the last week.
Earlier this year, Discover New England’s local representative, Tony Lane, led the Irish trade and media delegation to the region’s annual international tourism conference. In addition to the conference itself, the group also participated in two amazing FAM trips that took in three of New England’s states and showcased some of the very best this wonderful region has to offer.
