Discerning Clients + Slow Food = Boutique Journeys

Following the launch by One Stop Touring Shop of the Brendan Vacations ‘Boutique Journeys’ programme to the Irish trade at the start of January (as reported by ITTN on 3rd January), 1STS held a briefing lunch for travel writers in L’Ecrivain last week, where Brendan Vacations Ireland Managing Director Catherine Reilly announced that Boutique Journeys is now part of the Slow Food Organisation’s travel programme, which is being sold exclusively in the Irish marketplace.

Hosting the Boutique Journeys lunch were Carole Carmody, Marketing & PR Executive, One Stop Touring Shop; Catherine Reilly, Managing Director, Brendan Vacations Ireland; and Sharon Jordan, Business Manager, One Stop Touring Shop

“Boutique Journeys is a new way of exploring the world,” said Catherine. “This collection of premium guided holidays accommodates as few as two guests and a maximum of only 24, letting guests delve deeper into local traditions, bond more tightly with their travel companions, and interact more personally with the people they meet along the way.

“Featuring hand-crafted itineraries, everything from enriching excursions and ideally located accommodations to festive meals and exquisite wine tastings are deisgned to bring guests even closer to the sights they venture to the corners of the world not just to see, but to experience.

“Slow Food Travel itineraries in France and Italy join vacations in Colombia, Guatemala, Iceland, South Africa, India, Myanmar, Thailand, Vietnam, Cambodia, Laos and China.”
