Diary Dates for Travel Centres 2013 Conference

With the words “fantastic”, “wonderful”, “brilliant”, “fabulous” and “amazing” being the most frequently used in travel agents’ descriptions of the organisation’s recent conference, Dominic Burke, Managing Director of Travel Centres, has already fixed the dates for next year’s conference: Friday 8th – Saturday 9th November 2013. Travel Centres Logo

Dominic told Irish Travel Trade News: “This year’s conference, which took place at Killashee House just a few weeks ago, was such a resounding success that we are already planning next year’s event! Although we haven’t yet decided on a venue (several locations have been shortlisted), we have fixed the dates and they are Friday 8th and Saturday 9th November – which are the Friday and Saturday immediately following World Travel Market 2013, which runs from 4th – 7th November.

“We have also signed a contract that will see the amazing RPJ Band providing the entertainment for the Saturday night Gala Dinner. The RPJ band is regarded as the best ‘event’ band in the UK and is fronted by Rick Parfitt jnr. — son of rock legend Rick Parfitt of Status Quo fame. Other members of the band have also performed and/or collaborated with world-class acts as diverse as Lily Allen, Wheatus, Pet Shop Boys, Amy Mcdonald, Girls Aloud, Simple Minds, Sugababes, A-Ha, Lionel Ritchie, Imogen Heap, Katherine Jenkins and the Bay City Rollers – so an amazing night of rocking everybody’s socks off is guaranteed!”

“Fabulous” Feedback

Typical feedback from those who attended the Killashee House event includes:

“Congratulations on what has been by far the best organised and attended conference I have been to in years.”

“I know everyone I talked to all said it was the best ever function.”

“You have surpassed yourselves once again, a fantastic couple of days both business-wise and socially.”

“Congratulations on a fabulous event. It was extremely well run and most enjoyable and beneficial!”

“As well as being well organised and worthwhile work-wise, it was without doubt the best night I have had travel-wise since I started in the business.”
