Delta Will Offer Free In-Flight Wi-Fi to all Passengers

Delta Airlines is close to coming through with a promise it made years ago to give passengers free wi-fi.

It has been offered to SkyMiles Rewards customers and will roll it out in early 2023.

Once it is available it may require a SkyMiles ID to use, according to The Wall Street Journal.

It has been a goal of Delta’s since 2018. The airline also tested limited free Wi-Fi on domestic flights in 2019.

Delta currently uses Viasat and Intelsat for onboard internet access and charges a €5 fee.
