Seven Irish retail agents will be heading off on 7th June for a five-day ‘Dubai for Families’ familiarisation visit hosted by the Dubai Department of Tourism and Commerce Marketing, Etihad Airways, and Jebel Ali International Hotels.
The lucky agents are Pamela Kelly, Newbridge Travel; Jennifer Dineen, Abbey Travel; Siobhan Geraghty, Cavan Travel; Clodagh Connolly, Fahy Travel; Orla Barcoe, Manning Travel; Majella Greene, O’Callaghan Travel; and Orlagh Hogan, Travelmood. They will be escorted by Ingrid Aagesen from DTCM and Fiona Lawless from Etihad Airways and will be staying at Jebel Ali International Hotels’ Oasis Beach Tower.
They will be enjoying the following action-packed three days in Dubai:
Friday 8th June:
Following a show round the Oasis Beach Tower, they will be transferred to the Jebel Ali Resort for a day of activities, including hosted lunch and a spa treatment. Then it’s a trip downtown to watch the Dubai Fountain before going onboard Bateaux Dubai for a hosted dinner.
Saturday 9th June:
The day begins with a Jumeirah Mosque Tour, then site inspections of Jumeirah Beach Hotel and The Westin before a hosted lunch, followed by a Desert Safari in 4×4 jeeps with Desert Adventures.
Sunday 10th June:
First they will visit ‘At the Top’ at the Burj Khalifa, the world’s tallest building, and then avail of some retail therapy at Dubai Mall, where they will also visit KidZania, Sega Republic, Dubai Aquarium, and Dubai Ice Rink. After a site inspection at Atlantis The Palm there will be a hosted lunch and free time at Aquaventura. Then it’s pre-dinner drinks at Thyme at the Oasis Beach Tower before transferring to Jebel Ali Golf Resort & Spa for a hosted dinner.
