Daa Says No Injuries From Air Bridge Incident at Dublin Airport

The collapse of one of the raised passenger corridors – or air bridges – used to facilitate people’s access to planes, at Dublin Airport, did not result in any injuries, according to airport operator daa.

A daa spokesperson said: “Daa can confirm an incident which resulted in damage to an American Airlines aircraft by an air bridge at Dublin Airport on Sunday morning. There were no reports of any injuries to any passengers or crew.”

It is understood the only disruption to services was the time it took for a replacement aircraft to be readied to take the impacted passengers to their destination. The affected American Airlines plane was taken for repair.
