The operator of Dublin and Cork airports – daa – has reached a dispute settlement agreement with its chief executive Kenny Jacobs, which will see Mr Jacobs voluntarily step down from the role.
The long-running legal dispute between the two parties was due to be heard at the High Court today and yesterday, but was struck out of court after a very recent settlement development.

Mr Jacobs said he is “immensely proud of the outstanding performance daa achieved in my time as CEO with record operational, commercial and financial results”.
“I am delighted with the very many improvements made for passengers at Dublin and Cork airports and the infrastructure expansion that supports aviation capacity growth and sustainability change which are both vital to the Irish economy,” he said.
