The new facility brings together the former Anna Livia lounge and the BMI executive lounge into one large unit for the comfort of passengers awaiting their flights.

The extended lounge has seating for 110 customers, and while the main users are business fliers, it is open to all passengers to use the facility for a walk-in price of €20 for three hours.

The food offering has been significantly improved with cereals, yoghurt and fresh fruit delivered daily. Also available are mini Danish pastries, selection of cheese and crackers as well as tea/coffee, wine and soft refreshments and hot soup from 11am daily.

Along with self-service snacks and drinks, the refurbished lounge also includes a business area with computers and wi-fi and a family room with children’s play facilities.

Maurice Hennessy, DAA Commercial Director, said: “The lounge has a comfortable, spacious and bright feel to it, which is ideal for both leisure and business passengers.  We have listened to feedback from our customers and we are delivering a significantly enhanced service as a result of that feedback.”
