An annual travel insurance family plan that includes unlimited trips, worldwide insurance, 21 days wintersports, and up to 60 days on any one trip is being offered from €64.85 by CUsafe Insurance. Other policies include single/multi trip travel insurance, backpacker, business travel, car hire excess cover, and wedding insurance.
John Hamilton told Irish Travel Trade News: “CUsafe was developed in 2009 as a partnership who saw that Irish credit unions wanted to provide value insurance products for their members. Then from September 2011 we expanded and improved our business model to offer a full insurance broker service with an extensive range of value products and a dedicated call centre in Rathfarnham. We do, of course, pay commission to travel agents throughout Ireland.”
