CLIA Launches New Website Dedicated to Online Cruise Training

CLIA UK & Ireland is re-launching its travel agent website as figures show that more users than ever before are visiting the site for the dedicated online cruise training and its unique resources. More than 6,500 users completed 27,000 online modules in the past year.

Recognising the changing way in which travel agents visit the website, Cruiseexperts.org will become fully compatible for users on mobiles and tablets for the first time when re-launched in early June.

In addition the site will be organised into three distinct areas:

The Learning Academy will continue to provide City & Guilds accredited training modules, together with a resource centre containing reports and statistics.

The new Cruise Tool Box will feature resources to assist agents during the sales process, including the unique digital brochure rack, a complete guide to all ocean and river cruise ships; specially created CLIA factsheets; a fully updated cruise search engine; and CLIA Destination Guides.

The new CLIA Cruise Daily will feature the latest cruise news and special guest columns; live and recorded webinars; a calendar of cruise industry events open to travel agents; the CLIA image library; CLIA TV; and Sales Guides.

Andy Harmer, CLIA UK & Ireland Director, said: “We identified that more and more agents are now accessing cruiseexperts.org via their mobile or tablet so I am delighted that the site will be compatible with all forms of technology. This, together with the three newly created web zones, represents a significant enhancement for our members.”
