CityJet Re-commences Dublin – Pau Flights

CityJet will re-commence its weekend schedule from Dublin to Pau for summer 2012, flying direct to Pau Pyrénées Airport from 25th May 2012. The schedule will offer weekly flights departing from Dublin on a Friday and returning on Monday, with special fares from €79 one-way and €167 return including all taxes and fees. These fares will be available on all flights booked before 31st May, for travel until 5th October 2012.

Pau is the gateway to the spectacular scenery of the Pyrenees, with a short drive to popular beach resorts such as Biarritz and the Atlantic coast, as well as Lourdes. The city is also famous for its history, with the Château de Pau dominating the centre of the city. The castle was the birthplace of the 16th-century king of France Henry IV and was once used by Napoleon as a holiday home during his period in power. Today the city is still a popular centre for winter sports, golf and equestrian events.

Christine Ourmières, Chief Executive of CityJet, said: “Following the success of the flights last year, I am thrilled that we are re-starting a direct CityJet service to this beautiful French region from Ireland. Our service from Dublin offers a convenient schedule for couples looking to take a weekend break or for families enjoying longer summer holidays during the school break.”

The Dublin – Pau route will be operated by an Avro RJ85 jet with a seating capacity of 95.
