CityJet to Fly Dublin to Cambridge

CityJet will be expanding its Dublin offering by launching a route to Cambridge, the first direct service from Dublin. More than a university town, Cambridge is one of the fastest growing cities in the UK and is in East Anglia in the heart of the high-technology centre known as Silicon Fen – a play on Silicon Valley and the fens surrounding the city. Its economic strengths lie in industries such as software and bioscience.

Culturally, Cambridge is a city where there is something for everyone when it comes to entertainment. For the art minded, there is an impressive range of galleries to choose from; there is a thriving theatre and performance scene with a variety of live gigs and festivals including the world-famous Folk Festival, ever-popular Beer Festival and magical Secret Garden Party festivals.

Visitors can go punting on the River Cam, enjoy a picnic in the park, join a walking tour of the city or enjoy everything the region has to offer on the cycle paths across the city. The city also offers a range of choices to eat and drink from Michelin-starred restaurants to popular village pubs to charming tea rooms. Cambridge has much to discover and explore for any visitors to the region.

Operated by a Fokker 50, with a capacity of 50, flights will start on 12th May and are bookable from Monday 28th April. The route to Cambridge will operate twice-daily and is priced from €59 one-way and €119 return. All fares include 23kg of hold luggage and complimentary snack and drink service.
