Christine McTiernan, Mullaney Travel, Sligo, was announced to be the winner of the Irish Travel Trade Awards Voters Prize of a trip for two to Malaysia, including two return tickets ex-Dublin to Kuala Lumpur and seven nights B&B accommodation in a 5-star hotel in Langkawi, courtesy of Tourism Malaysia, Malaysia Airlines and Irish Travel Trade News.
All staff working for a licensed and bonded travel agency anywhere on the island of Ireland were eligible to vote and the voting forms were independently audited by international accountants and consultants Grant Thornton. The Irish Travel Trade Awards are the ONLY awards in the Irish travel industry to be so audited.
All fully completed, eligible Voting Forms received were entered into the prize draw, with the winner being randomly selected by Grant Thornton’s computer.
