Choice Hotels EMEA has continued its strategic agreement with CPI Hotels, the leading hotel operating company in the Czech Republic and Central and Eastern Europe (CEE) Region, with the opening of the Clarion Hotel Vienna South on Wienerbergstrasse 7, Vienna.

The 201 bedroom hotel – which also has three conference rooms – is located in central Vienna close to many of the city’s landmarks; including the Naschmarkt, the Karlsplatz and the State Opera.

David Beers, CEO of Choice Hotels EMEA said“The opening of the Clarion Hotel Vienna South, which is ideally placed with impressive city views which will no doubt be popular with leisure and business travellers alike,  further enhances our reach with greater visibility in EMEA to draw a broader spectrum of international travellers.

“CPI Hotels operates a diverse portfolio of hotels which, coupled with its extensive market knowledge, enable us to leverage local expertise and existing infrastructure to strengthen our operations in the region.

“Its opening further reflects our ongoing strategy of growing internationally and in forming alliances, such as this long-standing relationship we have with CPI Hotels, that align with our focus on delivering value to franchise owners and enriching guest experiences.”

“Entering the Austrian market and opening the first Clarion Hotel in Vienna is a significant step in the development of our portfolio within Central Europe,” said Jan Kratina, CEO of CPI Hotels. “We are proud to bring the standards and values of the Clarion brand to Vienna, a city rich in culture and with immense tourism potential.”
