The combination of SAS, Tumlare and Hurtigruten brought the spectacular vista of Scandinavia to Dublin.
Alan Sparling of SAS, Rannveig Snorradottir of Tumlare, and Danny Giles of Hurtigruten were the presenters of the various aspects of the products – airline, tour operator and voyages (cruises).
Alan Sparling, with the SAS Go and Plus products and daily flights from Dublin to Copenhagen, Stockholm and Oslo supporting the business and leisure products, said: “With up to 26 flights a week from Dublin, SAS have Scandinavia covered. By working with partners such as Tumlare DMC and Hurtigruten, we can present wonderful itineraries to help customers really discover Scandinavia and give them a ‘reason to go’. I would like to thank the trade for coming out in such great numbers – it was an enjoyable evening.”
Rannveig Snorradottir of Tumlare presented all the wonderful attractions throughout Scandinavia and the different products available in the winter and summer seasons in the three countries.
Danny Giles of Hurtigruten emphasised the difference of their voyages to the Northern Lights, Antarctica and the Fiords, and had a special offer for the trade of ‘Buy one Get one free’.
A most enjoyable Scandinavian-style buffet in the Radisson Blu was provided and a business-like and informative evening was the reward to the 40 members of trade who were in attendance.
The winner of two SAS Go tickets from Dublin to Copenhagen, Stockholm or Oslo was Caroline Martin, Project Travel.
The winner of a place on the Hurtigruten fam trip was Frances Kelly from GTI.
