Carnival Grows Australia Fleet For Expanded 2026/27 Cruise Programme

Carnival Cruise Line is adding another two ships to its Australia cruise fleet, as part of Carnival’s group expansion in the region.

Carnival has already confirmed an additional two ships, for Australia, through its P&O Cruises Australia line for March 2025.

Now, the Carnival Group has announced it will add two more ships via its Carnival Cruise Line brand.

The Carnival Adventure and Carnival Encounter ships will join the Australia fleet next spring, in time for an expanded Carnival Cruise Line itinerary for the 2026/27 cruise season.

The expanded programme includes sailings from Sydney – on Carnival Adventure and Carnival Splendor – and from Brisbane on Carnival Encounter and Carnival Luminosa. Itineraries feature popular destinations like Moreton Island, the South Pacific, New Zealand, the Great Barrier Reef, Fiji and Papua New Guinea.

“As we expand our fleet to four ships in Australia and enrich our overall deployment plan, our 2026/27 itineraries significantly increase the options available for the Carnival experience from Sydney and Brisbane,” said Fred Stein, vice president of itinerary planning.

Guests interested in a cruise from Australia are bound to find the perfect itinerary, whether they’re looking to explore a new region or revisit key vacation destinations – all showcasing the diverse beauty of the South Pacific.”
