The Commission for Aviation Regulation (CAR) updated its list of travel agent licences on 10th August to include three new licences and two new trading names, having updated its list of tour operator licences on 8th August to include one new licence.
Travel agent licence 0770 was issued to Bravonext SA, Vicola de’Calvi 2, 6830 Chiasso, Switzerland, trading as Lastminute.ie, on 9th August with an expiry date of 31st October 2016.
Travel agent licence 0767 was issued to Great Rail Journeys Ltd, Saviour House, 9 St Savioursgate, York, YO1 8NL, England, trading as Rail Discoveries, Great Rail Journeys and GRJ (Independent), from 31st August 2016 and expiring on 30th April 2017.
Travel agent licence 0768 was issued to Premier Irish Golf Tours Ltd, Unit 6, Tom Crean Business Centre, Kerry Technology Park, Tralee, Co Kerry, T: 089 411 0421, trading as Premier Irish Travel and Premier Irish Golf Tours, on 14th July 2016 and expiring on 30th April 2017.
The trading name of Sunrise Travel was added to Prime Marketing Ltd (licence 0749), and that of Gohop Group to Travel Management Solutions Ltd (licence 0535.
The listing for Lowcostholidays Spain S.L. (licence 0730) was still included.
New Tour Operator Licence
Tour operator licence 209 was issued to Map Travel Ltd, 36 Upper O’Connell Street, Dublin 1, T: 01 878 3111, from 10th August, and expiring on 31st October 2016.
No changes have as yet been made to the listings for the Crystal brands, which are still all listed under Specialist Holidays Group Ltd (licence 029).
