Cambodia is set to be the next far eastern Asian country to see a vital recovery in inbound tourism since the Covid crisis.

Cambodia’s tourism minister, Thong Khon, said the country welcomed nearly 2.2 million inbound international tourist visitors during the first five months of this year.

He added that 2023, as a whole, should deliver around 4.5 million international tourists to Cambodia, with domestic tourist numbers expected to reach 16 million people.
