Bus Éireann Expands Eurolines Service Linking Dublin with Major UK Destinations

Bus Éireann has announced a significant expansion of its Eurolines service linking Dublin with major UK destinations.

From 18 July, new connections and additional weekly departures will provide greater flexibility and convenience for passengers traveling between Ireland and the UK.

In partnership with National Express, the enhanced Eurolines service will now include a new stop at Cheshire Oaks, with onward connections to Manchester, Manchester Airport and Leeds.  The Birmingham stop at Digbeth will now offer onward connections to Milton Keynes and Luton, in addition to existing core services to Holyhead, Birmingham, and London.

The service will also increase in frequency, with new Sunday departures from Dublin Busáras and Monday departures from London Victoria Coach Station, adding to the existing Friday and Saturday schedules.

Andrew Yates, Head of Expressway, Bus Éireann said: “We’re delighted to expand our Eurolines offering this summer, building on the strong demand we’ve seen since over the past 12 months. By increasing our destinations and departure options, we’re making cross-channel coach and ferry travel even more accessible, comfortable, and sustainable for our customers.”

Eurolines operates on premium coaches and crosses the Irish Sea via Irish Ferries’ Ulysses vessel, allowing for an overnight journey with direct arrivals into central city locations – avoiding the hassle of airport travel and long security queues.

Fares start from just €42 one way, with promotional discounts available using the code EUR30 at the time of booking. Passengers enjoy no hidden charges, free first bag, extra-fast Wi-Fi, comfortable seating onboard, and generous room for oversized baggage.

With far lower emissions than flying, Eurolines offers a more environmentally conscious way to travel to the UK — ideal for students, families, and sporting events.
