Starting 1st June 2012, Brussels Airlines will connect the European capital daily with New York JFK. The service will be operated with completely renewed Airbus A330 aircraft equipped with the latest in-flight technology and comfort. It is the airline’s first own connection to the USA since Brussels Airlines started in 2002. It will be a daily morning service from Brussels Airlines’ exclusive long-haul terminal (T zone) to New York (JFK) Terminal 1 and an overnight service from New York to Brussels. There is a launch fare of €399, all taxes and service fees included.
All flights will be operated with Airbus A330-300 or A330-200 aircraft. They will be equipped with a new business and economy class cabin (flat bed in business, ergonomic seats in economy, and latest generation in-flight entertainment system).
“We are especially pleased that we will be able to serve New York, the main long-haul destination for the Belgian travel market, ourselves from next spring,” said Brussels Airlines Chief Executive Bernard Gustin. “Not only are we investing in our own air connection to the States, but thanks to a completely new cabin we are also offering our passengers a state-of-the-art product more than ever before.”
